last night goes

The clouds are ajostling

thisdyingevening,

running down the sun,

to bleed their violet

and their orange.

My feet

pivotagainst their center

and repeat, and repeat, and repeat,

as,we,all are wheeling

to the crickets

of Summer.

It’s my hundredth,

for all I know, thousandth

time racing the sundown

in this-particular plain, but

these geese overhead

complain nonetheless,

as if they

didn’t know

me

I am so far behind on reading your blog, sorry. HOWEVER, I am such a fan of your poetry and hope to see you write more. 🙂 Wonderful post!
